*We ask that you put down 2 breeding pair options per reservation.

Once kids are born, we will contact people in order of deposit, then general reservation. If your first choice is not available (including breeder retaining kid), the paid deposit may be applied to another available kid of your choice or you may wait for the next breeding on that doe or you can use your reservation toward another breeding if those are not taken and full.

*Pricing of kids is based on lineage, conformation and potential. Prices may be adjusted once kids are on the ground, no prices are set in stone until evaluation of kid and dam's udder is seen after kidding.

***Magnolia Hill Farm reserves the right to cancel and not sell to anyone we do not see fit; at any time, we see fit!!***

*REMEMBER NO ANIMAL IS SOLD UNTIL PAID IN FULL.  All animals will be marked as sale pending after deposit in half is received in cash, Venmo, or PayPal. No animal will be marked sale pending without 50% deposit.

*In the event that something should happen to the animal between the deposit and leaving the farm, Magnolia Hill Farm will return the deposit or apply that deposit towards another animal.

*Registrations and Paperwork on all goats sold as registered will come with filled out applications for registration or original certificates with signed transfers. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to keep these papers in a safe place until registered in their name. For a $15 charge per goat, Magnolia Hill Farm will replace lost applications/paperwork. Buyer is responsible for all charges of registration/transfer fees.

*Health Papers, Shipping, Testing ALL transporters need and require health papers, any testing and shipping, it is the responsibility of the buyer to pay for these. All testing such as CAE, Johnes, CL, TB, Brucellosis is the responsibility of the buyer if needed outside the regular scheduled testing times. It is also the Responsibility of the buyer to check with their state to see the state laws of imported goats from other states. Health Certificates costs vary, each test has a different cost: if any tests are needed, these costs will be added to the final cost of the goats and paid for by the buyer.

*All animals will be guaranteed healthy at the time of sale. Because we cannot control the goat’s environment after it leaves, there is no extended health guarantee after the goat leaves our possession (including that with the transporter). Show quality animals will be free of disqualifying faults at the time of sale.

**The health of all animals on Magnolia Hill Farm is of the utmost importance.

*Every adult goat at Magnolia Hill Farm is tested annually for CAE, Johne's, & CL.

*All kids will receive CDT vaccine (given they stay until weaning; bottle babies are your responsibility) and Coccidiosis preventative prior to leaving for their new homes.

*Bottle baby sale opportunities are only made with the highest scrutiny, and are NOT guaranteed to all buyers.

*All kids sold from my farm will be disbudded if they are not polled.

**We do not guarantee disbudded goats will not develop scurs as they age.

**Single goat sales will only be made to buyers who already have at least one other goat on the property, where the single goat from Magnolia Hill Farm will be residing, or can prove they will be purchasing another goat at the same time to live with their new Magnolia Hill Farm goat.

Goats are herd animals and may become fatally ill if they are not treated as such. This is strictly for the best interest of the goats we raise from our farm and have no scrutiny over the buyer.

*If an animal is sold as Exposed/has been bred that is just what it means!! There is NO Guarantee given by Magnolia Hill Farm that this doe, after leaving, will kid at your farm!! Due to the stress of transport, the stress of moving, and being at a new home dealing with new feed, new animals around them, we will NOT Guarantee any pregnancy or that a doe will Kid for you!! They are sold as exposed/bred with dates given and memos given for those dates, but NO Guarantee of pregnancy or kidding will be given to the buyer!!

***Magnolia Hill Farm CANNOT and WILL NOT, GUARANTEE A SHOW CAREER OR MILK PRODUCTION OF ANY ANIMAL.***

First ferment with my new @fermentaholics scoby and @bigelowtea started yesterday. Thanks to @fallenoaksfarm_mn for the scoby recommendation 😘

Second ferment/flavoring will begin in 7-21 days.

I am having the hardest time deciding how to flavor this batch for the second ferment 😬

Any recommendations from you kombucha connoisseurs out there would be very welcomed!

What’s your favorite flavors?

Do you have a favorite morning spot in your home? Do you have a favorite morning spot in your home? This is mine.

When we built our home, I knew I wanted my kitchen windows to face the sunrise.

You see, there’s something about beginning a new day together with the sun and all that it wakes and enriches every morning.

An added bonus, that I didn’t plan but now realize, was that my plants (herbs, houseplants, tomatoes, baby fruit trees, ferns) would enjoy this morning sun just as much.

Sharing this part of my home with so much life each morning is not only energizing but peaceful. I soak in the soothing sun, my devotionals, and goat milk and honey coffee, and it does my soul well.

This spot fills me every single day. I hope you have a favorite morning spot too❤️

I’m not sure why, but I have been so nervous abo I’m not sure why, but I have been so nervous about canning.

I’ve never reeeally canned before.

Yes, I’ve made a small batch, or two, of pickles in my life, but not enough to consider myself well versed in the world of canning.

It’s funny because the fear I have (had) of canning does/did not align with the desire I have to be a master canner. I truly want to can, a lot, and well.

Isn’t it crazy how sometimes the things we desire most, we tend to put off the longest?

The funny part about this shove I needed to finally dive into canning, was my forgetfulness and a beautiful flat of Louisiana strawberries….that I left in my hot car all day 😬

My choices were: A) make jam, right away, or B) feed these gorgeous, VERY ripe, beauties to the pigs and chickens.

I was very nervous, and it sure would have been easy and semi-justified to feed them to the animals but…

I’m so thankful I chose the jam.

Now, I can’t wait until the next batch!!!

A little lesson I learned over some almost-bad strawberries:

When you find yourself at an opportunity to do the thing that you’ve been scared to do or the easy, yet sensible route, always choose the jam…it’s worth it!

The “fairy egg” (or “fart egg” as my boys The “fairy egg” (or “fart egg” as my boys call them 😬 #boymom), is a strange little phenomena.

A great deal smaller than an average egg but, when observed without size comparison, looks to be just a normal egg. Even the white and yolk look like the norm, just t-tiny.

Although they obviously do not posses much belly-filling potential, I can’t help but chuckle when I find these little wonders in our laying boxes ☺️

Partly because they’re just stinkin’ cute, and these are usually a good sign that one of the young hens are getting kicked off on her laying career 🤗

With that said, YAY for our fairy egg find this morning! A day brightener and promise for the future of my little laying flock 🥰

Thank you Lord, for the beauty that is nature. Tha Thank you Lord, for the beauty that is nature.
Thank you for gifting me with the mindfulness and stillness to appreciate it.
What a beautiful gift.

“Look at a tree, a flower, a plant.
Let your awareness rest upon it.
How still it is, how deeply rooted in being.
Allow nature to teach you stillness.”
